We have all heard the horror stories. The market traders and online shops that claim to sell Formula Y, the reports of the hundreds stolen and the numerous accounts that have been hacked. However, a more sinister type of seller has recently come to light.
Melissa Rake, 19, was arrested yesterday for selling false versions of Formula Y. Unlike previous fakes, Miss Rake’s, has caused horrific effects, with some victims left scarred.
When asked why she did what she did, Miss Rake stated: “if you’d kill to beautiful, then you’ll never ever be beautiful!” [Spits on floor]. “You use Formula Y and I’ll show the world how ugly you really are.”
Miss Rake, of course, is not the only one to sell this kind of Formula and customers are advised to check that the sites and shops that they are shopping on are genuine. A list of these can be found on the Triple S website.
The company has also issued a formal warning and a helpline for anyone who has been affected by such false formulas. Triple S would also like to remind all customers of Formula Y and associated products, to check for the hallmark engraved into the base of the bottle, which signifies a genuine product.
